These records should be stored in a separate machine history file that is maintained throughout the equipment’s lifespan.
Maintenance of construction hoists should only be performed by individuals who are deemed competent and possess the necessary training and knowledge to carry out the task. Authorized personnel should be selected through a formally documented assessment process, and any gaps in knowledge or skills should be addressed through formal or on-the-job training.
