A mast climbing work platform, also known as a suspended work platform, is a system that complies with the EN1495+A2 standards. It is driven by reducers connected to motors with electromagnetic brakes on masts that are 1.50 meters long and equipped with rack gear systems. The platform can extend up to 30 meters wide on facades using modular wings that are also 1.50 meters wide.
Mast climbing work platforms are not designed for load transportation. They should be used as recommended in the manufacturer’s manual.
These platforms are divided into two types: single mast and double mast.
- Single mast mast climbing work platforms can extend up to 10.5 meters wide on a single mast.
- Double mast mast climbing work platforms can extend up to 30 meters wide on two masts.

- Workers can securely attach their safety harnesses to an independent safety rope that can be suspended from the platform, allowing them to work comfortably. In contrast, on non-movable scaffolding, where there are planks on each floor, it is difficult for workers on the lower floors to attach their safety harnesses to an independent safety rope.
- The platform’s ability to move easily on vertical masts allows for faster and more rational final inspections. In other systems, reinstalling products removed from the facade can lead to significant time loss and unnecessary costs.
